EDC Organization
One of the biggest question many people ask is, how can I carry my stuff comfortably? That is a legit question. EDC literally means “Every Day Carry’ and it should not be a chore or be cumbersome. So the questions I ask myself almost daily are, Will this fit in my pocket? Do I even want this in my pocket? Can I access this easily if I’m sitting or in the car. Would this work better on a belt, back pocket or front pocket? Can I organize this a little better?
As you can see these or good questions that you may have asked yourself too. So there are several options for you at this point. Option one: Make an EDC organizer.
Above are a few options Ive come up with and made to suit my needs. However, I know many of you reading this aren’t the “Crafty” type or simply have no desire what so ever to sit for hours, cutting leather, hand stitching, or braiding paracord. (Damn, I’m exhausted just typing that). A Simple Good Search for EDC Organziers will turn up hundreds of options for you; ranging from $5 to a couple hundred dollars. You just need to get what will work for you and your budget.
This is my option to the pocket carry. I made a case that sits comfortably in my back pocket, front pocket, cargo pants, or backpack. I just grab this and go. When I’m in my Bronco, I just toss it in the console storage. At work, flop it up on the desk. Simple solution.
Another Option I created. Smaller, less tools, but effective.
You can even EDC Organize your keys. The Above picture is a paracord Key organizer I made. Kinda works like a pocket knife would. I will be doing a tutorial video that will show you exactly how to make this simple key fob for a fraction of the cost of a, lets say Key Smart.
Again you see there are many options for comfort. You just have to look at your kit and gear and figure out what works best for you. Hey! Guess what! There is not wrong answer. Do what makes you happy.
